Passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 30, 2018. John was born on May 18, 1926 to the late George and Ivy Fooks and raised in Providence, RI. He received a degree in electrical engineering from Brown University and attended Harvard University for graduate business courses through the Westinghouse Executive Training Program. John was employed at Westinghouse Electrical Corp. for 46 years, serving as Vice President and Director of Productivity and Quality Control, a position through which he developed cutting-edge technology that he shared with many Fortune 500 companies and governments around the world. John is survived by his wife, Rosalie; four children: Andrea, Benn, Jim, and Jeff; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS, 724-941-3211.
