Age 93, of Bridgeville, formerly of Green Tree/Westwood, on Friday, December 7, 2018. Dearly Beloved Wife of Nelson LoPinto and the late Joseph Daniels; Loving Mother of Mary Jo Cannon and the late Patrick and Michael Daniels; Sister of Robert Hamer and the late Regina Lane, Theresa Johns, and Edward Hamer; Beloved Grandmother of seven; Great-Grandmother of seven with one on the way. Mary Ellen was actively involved with St. Margaret's Christian Mothers for many years, serving a term as president; additionally, she taught a sewing class at St. Margaret School. For the past 31 years, Mary Ellen, along with her husband, Nelson, were the founding members of the "Merry Makers," a group of ballroom dancers and entertainers that performed at local senior living facilities. Not only did she sew many of their costumes, but also she assisted with the choreography of their dance routines. Many Ellen was a beautiful, stylish, shining light that lit up every room she entered. She was loved deeply by numerous family members and friends and will be missed dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Child Parish on Tuesday at 10 AM. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery will follow.
